Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent (article 6.1.a GDPR), given through the tick box on the form, and on the steps taken prior to entering into a contract at your request (article 6.1.b) where your message concerns a booking.
Recipients
Your data is received and handled solely by the manager of T’Nature. It is neither sold, nor rented, nor passed to third parties for commercial purposes.
Your messages reach us through Web3Forms, a service operated by Web3Creative, which acts as a data processor under the GDPR. The service is run from India and relies on Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare and Hetzner. Transfers of data outside the European Economic Area are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Messages are kept there for three years at most, then deleted automatically.
To filter out automated submissions, your IP address and your email address may be passed to the anti-spam services CleanTalk and Akismet. The Web3Forms privacy policy is available at web3forms.com/privacy.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry without a booking: 12 months from the last exchange, then deleted.
- Enquiry followed by a stay: the statutory retention period for accounting records (10 years for invoicing documents).
Cookies and third-party services
What the site stores, and when
The site uses no analytics tool and no advertising tracker. It stores nothing when you arrive on the page.
However, the location map in the Contact section is displayed straight away. It is provided by Google Maps: as soon as it comes into view, that is when you scroll to the bottom of the page, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. Loading is deferred (lazy loading), so nothing is sent until you reach that part of the page, but it is not subject to your prior consent.
decision pending: to be fully GDPR compliant on this point there are two options: restore the “Show the map” screen that asked for your agreement (as the map in the “The house” section still does), or add a consent banner at the top of the site. The choice rests with the publisher.
Session storage
A single technical item is written to your browser’s sessionStorage : a flag named tn_loader which records that the opening animation has already been shown to you, so that it is not repeated on every page. This never leaves your device, identifies no one and disappears when you close the tab.
Google Maps
There are two maps on the site and they do not behave in the same way:
- “The house” section: the map is not loaded automatically. In its place you see a “Show the map” button. Nothing is sent to Google before you click it.
- “Contact” section: the map is displayed straight away, with deferred loading. Google receives your IP address when you scroll down to it.
In both cases, displaying the map means your IP address is processed by Google LLC and cookies are set, under the terms described in Google’s privacy policy.
By displaying the map you accept that Google may set cookies and that Google LLC may process your IP address, under the terms described in Google’s privacy policy.
Fonts
The site's fonts are hosted on the site itself. Displaying them sends no data to Google or any other third party, and nothing is stored on your device as a result.
Until 21 October 2026 they were loaded from Google Fonts, which sent your IP address to Google's servers. That transfer has been removed.
Links to Airbnb and Instagram
The site links to our Airbnb and Instagram pages. These are plain links: no content from those platforms is embedded in our pages, and they receive no information unless you click.
Security
The form is protected against automated submissions by an invisible honeypot field rather than a CAPTCHA: we would rather send no data to a third party in order to check that you are human.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, write to contact@tnature.fr. We reply within one month. You will not be asked for proof of identity without a legitimate reason.
If our reply does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the French data protection authority, the CNIL: cnil.fr/fr/plaintes.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated, in particular if a third-party service is added to the site. The date it was last updated appears at the top of this page.
